Cuts are often added during the season. Check with local organizers. You do not need to tell them you are coming. Just show up! You are welcome at all events. It does not matter where you live. Tools are provided. Wear gloves and sturdy shoes and bring water.

May 25, Saturday, 10:00 – 12:00. Parkway Trail, Park on Willowmere Crescent, follow the public access path to the trail (near the mailboxes). To access Willowmere Crescent, take Jinglepot Rd. across the highway from Mostar Rd., take the second left onto Avonlea Drive then left onto Willowmere. Walk for to five minutes along the trail towards the Nanaimo Tourism Kiosk (Northfield Rd.)
Sun. May 26, 6:30 pm- 8:30. Hwy 19 and Hwy 19A. Park at Shoppers Drug Mart walk along the edge of the old highway towards the new highway. As soon as you find broom on the edge of the highway that is where we will be!
June 1, Saturday 10:00 – 12:00. City of Nanaimo invasive drop at Bowen Park parking lot off of Wall St.

April 20, Saturday. 9:00 – 11:30. VIU. The big hill at College Way and Nanaimo Parkway.
April 23, Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. – 11:30. 6330 McRobb Ave. Park in the dirt lot behind the building.
April 28, Sunday, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00. Parkway trail. Park at the Nanaimo Tourism Kiosk at the intersection of Northfield Rd. and Hwy. 19. Walk along the trail towards Mostar Rd.for about 10 minutes.
April 30, Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. – 11:30. Backyard of 6010 Hammond Bay Rd. From Hammond Bay Rd. turn onto Brickyard Rd. take your first left on Clayburn Pl. you will see the broom!
May 1, Wednesday, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30. The slope Oliver Rd./Old Highway. Park at Canadian Tire and walk to the corner of Oliver Rd. and the Old Highway 19A.
May 4, Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00. Linley Point Gyro Park. Park on Rutherford Rd. and walk in along the trail or park on Linley Valley Drive near the playground and walk in. Also City of Nanaimo invasive species drop here at this time.
May 7, Tuesday 9:30 am – 11:30. 6052 Clarence Way. From McGirr Rd. turn onto Clarence Way the property is at the end of the street.
May 8, Wednesday, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30. Oceanview Park. From Hammond Bay Rd. turn onto Yorkshire Terrace, left onto Norton Rd., left onto Laguna Way and drive down to the upper slope of the park on the right.
May 10, Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00. Noon Third Street Park. Turn off the Parkway at Jingle Pot Road (where it connects to Third Street) and follow Jingle Pot Road past Third Street Connector. There will be a sign on Jingle Pot Road. Park.
May 11, Saturday, 9:30 am- 11:30. Sugarloaf Mountain. From Hammond Bay Rd. turn onto Friar Tuck Way, left onto Sherwood Drive, right onto Marion Way and follow this to the end you will see the staircase up to Sugarloaf Mountain.
May 12, Sunday, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00. Parkway Trail. Park at the Nanaimo Tourism Kiosk intersection at Northfield Rd. and Hwy 19. Walk along the trail towards Mostar Rd. about 15 min.
Tuesday May 14th, 9:30 am -11:30 Linley Point Gyro Park. You can park on Rutherford Rd. and walk in along the walk way or park on Linley Valley Drive near the playground. This is a flat cut and a stack along the path so no dragging of broom! Let’s get this finished this year!
Wednesday May 15 6:30 pm – 8:30 “The Slope” corner of Oliver Rd. and Hwy 19A (old highway). Park on the Canadian Tire side of Oliver Rd. This is a steep slope, stackers are always needed here.
Thursday May 16, 9:30 am – 11:30, 6052 Clarence Way. From McGirr Rd. turn onto Clarence Way and park on the street. A private property cut the property is at the end of the road.
Friday May 17, 9:30 am – 11:30 20 Maki Road. This is a private property cut the owner has asked for help!
May 21. Tuesday. 9:30 am – 11:30 end of Butcher Rd. A private property cut. From Hammond Bay Rd. turn onto Clipper Dr. then left onto Butcher Rd. The broom is at the end of the street. Please park on the side of the street we won’t be working on.
May 22, Wednesday. 6:30 pm – 8:30 Hwy. 19 and Hwy. 19A. Park at Shoppers Drug Mart and walk towards Lantzville on the edge of the old hwy. As soon as you see broom that is where we will be.
May 23, Thursday. 9:30 am -11:30 Hwy 19A. Park at Thrifty Foods on Turner Rd. and walk down to the highway.
Friday May 24th, 9:30 am – 11:30, 20 Maki Rd. in south Nanaimo. A private property cut. Flat and slope. Take Hwy 19A south through town and Maki Rd. is the street just past Rona.
