As you can see from the photos, all ages can participate. Where do you want to cut broom? Transform your neighborhood and save your greenspaces for the native plants and trees of our beautiful British Columbia.

Enthusiastic broombusters at the Parksville Interchange #51
Parksville near the Resorts & Visitors Center.
Jim's Gym is the most successful story so far of cooperation between Broombusters and businesses. Jim's Gym drew volunteers from the gym to clear the road you see photo 2 - over 3 weeks using broombuster tools & volunteers. The road is
now clear! Photo far right: The Philipino Society of Oceanside wanted to take part in Broombusting as a way to give back to the community. So one Saturday they worked on Exit 51 while 38 other Broombusters worked on Island Hwy and Exit 46.
More Broombusters!
These shots were taken along Hwy 19 - at the exit 46.
Broombusters cut at the Parksville Interchange over 3 weekends in 2012. The mayor and council, and dozens of Parksville and Oceanside residents took part. There was so much broom - but we have made a dent. Next year, we'll do more.
