Completed Cuts in the Past
April 30 Saturday 9:30 – noon Ryan Road. We’ll start at Anderton and work towards Crown Isle Drive. Let’s see how far we can get! All of the broom is cut and drop.
April 26 – 29 Tuesday – Thursday 9:30 – noon Northeast Woods. Park in the parking lot at the end of Torrence Rd past the Comox Municipal Works office. Walk past the yellow gate and follow the service road until it opens into the big field. Continue straight ahead and look for the green wagon full of tools. We cleared the field of huge broom a number of years ago and are now dealing with what has come up from seed. All of it is cut and drop. If you want to work on your own choose any part of the field that you would like!
April 25 Monday 9:30 – noon Lazo Rd between Becton Dr and Barber Ave. There is no place to park on Lazo Rd so park on Forester Ave and walk along the paved walkway beside 400 Forester Ave. Turn right and walk carefully on the shoulder of Lazo Rd for a short distance.
April 22 Saturday 9:30 am – noon by the dry retention pond at the corner of Lazo Rd and Becton Drive.
