May 10, Saturday. 10:00, Maintenance cut at the Penticton trails. Meet at top of Toba Street.
May 17, Saturday. 10:00. Resource Recovery Center “RRC”. The parking area is at the recycling center near the copper coloured building. (again look for my blue truck)
May 24. Saturday. Resource Recovery Center at 10:00 a.m to finish off the site. Park at the Recycling Center next to the Copper building.

June 1, Saturday. 10:00 a.m. Empty lot next to 4580 Joyce ave. Beside the Woodgrove Estates Apartments.

May 14, Saturday. 11:00-1:00. Broombusters Community Event. Manson Extension. (Penticton to Toba). Join Master Busters and Regional FireSmart Coordinator in the fight against Scotch Broom. Tools and snacks provided. Enter to win prizes. Bring gloves, friends and family. We will cut Rain or Shine!

Broombusters in Powell River have been active for a decade, led by Retired Fire Chief Terry Peters. It’s a fun group and you are more than welcome to join them for 2 hours or 20 hours!
