Denman Island !
Beginning: Four volunteers cut broom on Beaver Drive on April 17, 2024.
A contractor collected & transported to a local Denman farm for composting.

Saturna Island had their Cut Broom event on Sunday, April 21, 2024. 25 volunteers showed up. Chipping and removal is difficult on smaller islands. Fortunately, a landowner was able to take the cut broom and burn it. “We did a 1.7 km stretch of road from the ferry terminal to the general store.”
