Drier and hotter summers? Broom will love it! Young seedlings will not. The cedars are already struggling with the change of climate in the Pacific Northwest. Without the abundant rain that we have relied on, will forests grow back after being clear-cut? The mountains in the south part of New Zealand are now covered with Scotch Broom and Gorse. We can’t let that happen here.
